Myanmar set up a central committee and and a working committee to promote national telecommunications capabilities. The central committee is tasked with overseeing the launching of satellites, and will effectuate policy with regard to the launching of state operated satellites, approve MOUs and other documents, and seek to obtain space-related technology.
