California Space Authority agrees to dissolve

The Central Coast-based nonprofit organization that had advocated for the aerospace industry in California for more than a decade has been dissolved.

But, Lompoc’s mayor said city officials haven’t given up on plans to develop the proposed California Space Center in their boundaries.

California Space Authority announced Friday that its Board of Directors, who come from across the state, agreed Monday to begin the dissolution process. Members later voted in favor of breaking up the organization. . . . [Full Story]
