AHMEDABAD: The third Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) International Moot Court Competition (GIMC) will have international space law as a part of its problems of the moot court this year. The subject at the competition will be titled as international trade and space laws and arbitration.

The competition, which is supported by the Indian Space Research Organisation, will be held in Gandhinagar from February 9 to13. “Space law is one of the most significant areas emerging in the various institutes across the globe. It is a dynamic zone as its rules and regulations constantly keep changing,” said Girish R, faculty and the convenor of GIMC. A total of 33 teams from various law colleges will take part in the event. Last year, 36 teams took part in the GIMC in which a team from George Washington University from the US won.
