The bill that would codify U.S. space law  cleared the Senate without amendment on 3 December 2010 by Unanimous Consent. The next step is to go to the President’s desk for signature. After the bill is signed into law, the law will be the National and Commercial Space Programs, Title 51, of the United States Code.
