Last month, the Clear “registered traveler” program that operated with the blessing of the US government abruptly closed. About 200,000 people discovered passes they’d purchased were now worthless. No refunds would be given. A class action lawsuit has been filed. But forget the money. Will anyone consider a fraud action against the company’s executives and perhaps against competing “registered traveler” company Flo?
