The Disasters Charter has been activated for flooding in North Dakota:

Location of Event: North Dakota, USA
Date of Charter Activation: 25/03/2009
Charter Requestor: USGS on behalf of North Dakota
Project Management: Department of Geology and Geological Engineering – University of North Dakota

Description of Event:
Flooding continues in the Red River Basin of North Dakota and Minnesota, along with flooding in the Missouri River Basin of western North Dakota and in the Minnesota and Mississipi River basins of southern Minnesota.
National Weather Service continues to predict that records flooding of the Red River are expected in the city of Fargo, North Dakota.
