Please find below a letter from the Hon. John Conyers, Jr. Chair of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary. Mr. Conyers is requesting interested parties to review H.R. 4780 and submit comments to the Law Revision Counsel. Mr. Conyers notes that, “[c]hanges in existing law made by the bill are purely technical in nature and are not intended to have any substantive effect.” Comments received by May 31, 2008 will be considered and incorporated as appropriate in the bill as it will be reported by the Committee.

The bill and a detailed section-by-section explanation can be accessed at http://uscode.house.gov/
